Question:
Have two credit cards and a myer card and want to get rid of them- how can I do a credit fix thingy. Would like to roll them in together and pay no interest as I am paying them off... Can this be done??

Answer:

It is hard to find a way to pay no interest!  If you do work it out we would love to hear how.

What you can do is transfer all the balances to a personal loan at a lower rate and pay it off, or you can consolidate onto a home loan or a variety of low interest credit cards - like the Low Interest card provided by St George.

The aim is always to try and reduce the number of cards and the size of your limits so you tend to use savings rather than credit for future purchases.  You can also use the budget planner to set up a saving regieme.
